0 Kamuii
I quit AOL's Beta Team a couple years back, but I've decided to join again; 8.0 looks nice and I really want to test it... AOL may not be the best; I mean, I have AOL and ADSL...Simply because I like AOL. *shrug* It's not the devil everyone makes it out to be.

The vast majority of those are things that you can find on the internet WITHOUT AOL. Ditto!

Really?:right: So why would you pay an extra $15 for info & services that they say is "exlcusive"? All that stuff you can find on the internet without AOL. When I had AOL, I never used it's integrated browser. Because (1) I didn't like having all that screen space wasted and (2) it was slow.

The main reason was because AOL disconnects your dialup connection after you are idle for a certain amount of time, you have to be using the browser. I was using my connection many things other than just browsing like normal. Maybe this has been fixed, I have broadband anyway. I think the company AOL is a bit evil, but their services are all top-notch. All large companies are in it for the $$, do you blame them? PS. I'm one of those dude that always says AOL is the devil, haha....
