It used to snow all the time when I was younger in the Washington DC area. Now we are lucky to get flurries. I miss the snow. Winter is my favorite time of the year. Summer is the worst.

It usually starts snowing here around the time of my birthday, which is in 10 days. :)

Snow usually from October to April-May here.

Then it quickly warms up again for around 20-30 C during the summer.

That's something I like about living here, you get both warm summers and snowy winters.

Thats not true.. melbourne has had snow on a number of occasions however it fails to settle and build up. Even Alice Springs has experience snow and it settled. thats in the middle of dry baron country side desert all around. so if they can get snow then we sure as hell can in melbourne and we have i've even had snow settle in my town.

They get plenty of snow up in the north of Scotland and over east they tend to get more than us here in the west, a real proper snowfall has been rare here in the last couple of years, we get plenty of the sleety stuff though, which is horrible.

I live in Mendoza, a province in Argentina. Since we border the Andes it does tend to snow during the winter months, up in the mountains and sometimes here in the city.

I think snow is over rated, it looks nice for a day or so and we don't usually get much to talk about in London so when it comes everyone gets hyper and ****es thier pants, but after spending 4 months of last winter in Canada where it was about 3 feet deep for 3 months the novelty quickly wears off. I'm glad it rarely snows here.

edit: you can't even say the slang term for urine here?
