I can't believe windows will be so ugly...

What's up with Vista... I mean, I always thought that they are keeping the final look a secret... but many people say that it's almost complete cosmetically.

What a let down.

But you must admit, it DOES look ugly.

Windows XP had a nice, alive, mixture of coloring. You got the blue, with the green, and all that jazz. But come on, Black, grey, light blue. Thats just butt ugly

But I also beta tested XP in the early whistler stages, so who knows whatll be the outcome. All I know is, if it ends up like this. They better keep the Luna themes available on Vista. Ill keep vista looking like XP, but with Vista funcionality

Just because you think it is ugly doesn't mean that it is. cmon now, what lesson in rocket science about different tatstes pertaining to different individuals would you like today? hmm?

I see! Thanks, but it's Win XP beta 2 which looks like the final version. Does that mean Vista Beta 2 will be like the final version?

I hope they make it look nicer.

As it is, it's much nicer than XP's Luna Theme!

I'll be happy if microsoft include a Minimal theme with vista too. :)

I was just talking to someone internally about this. And they confirmed this, even Beta 2 won't be the final UI. RC and RTM will really be what the final is like :)

Well, since RTM == Final it would be strange if the final look was not in there:pp

We're not even at Beta 2 yet... Development has a long way to go. Does anyone remember what Whistler Beta 1 looked like? Take a look:

i did like Vista before, but i'm so in love with the styling of Office 2003 and Luna Element, who knows if this will change when i finally get a play with the final finished article.

BUT WHO CARES WHAT THE UI LOOKS LIKE?

Do you want your computer to look like the default that everyone else has? i dont

thats one of the wonderful things about skinning, INDIVIDUALITY!!!

Roll on Luna Element for Vista i say :p

I actually love the glass look of the current Vista. Though it's understandable how some people may not, but I'm sure that they will include luna and classic along with any final look they produce. Though I also hope they keep the current themes as well, just for those of us who do like it.
