0sit0 Posted July 17, 2002 Share Posted July 17, 2002 My computer turned off yesterday, i dunno why, and now it doesn't want to boot, all the fans start, i hear them, but not anything else, it just stays there, what could it be, the processor? MB? AsciiSmoke Posted July 17, 2002 Share Posted July 17, 2002 Musta had some interesting smells coming from that baybe :D I'd say that it was definately your CPU My PC was unreliable with a standard fan on my XP1700 until I got an AMD approved one, let alone no fan at all! Chances are your ram and mobo are also knackered now. Moral of the tale is; if you only spend 99% of the money required to get your pc right you'll only get 1% out of it! Good luck with it mate.
