Im not sure if this is the right place for my thread but if its not im sure a moderator will move it and it will be something to keep them busy. My problem is that im using AIM 5 beta that was featured here on neowin a few weeks ago. The problem is that it swallows up 18mb of RAM even when its idle and as i only have 256Mb RAM i don't like that so i use msconfig to stop it from running on startup so it saves me the hassle of closing it down completely everytime i bootup my pc. But everytime i then run AIM it re-enables itself in msconfig to startup during bootup!!!!! How cheeky is that i ask u????? Obviously im very unimpressed at this underhand tactics of AOL to force its software to always load up, does anyone know how i can stop it without going into msconfig after everytime i use it?
