No. I called all my teachers SIR or M'AM. I felt it was respectful and did this until I was 17.

At this point I moved during my A-Levels to some hippy-**** free thinking school, as my parents moved house. This school was labelled as being "progressive". This sent alarm bells ringing for me from day 1 - no uniform, no formalities, hippy tree hugging crap in my opinion.

They were oh so open minded, or so they thought. Except when I once needed to excuse myself within my first week, I addressed a lecturer as SIR. This apparently wasn't the done thing here, and not SIR, not MR Smith, no - by their first name.

Wow, that's SOOOO "progressive" wow, it put's us on a level playing field and allows us to develop mutual respect. BULLSH*T! The particular prick teacher in question berated me for being (in his eyes) upper class, stuck up and laughed at me for not calling him John. Wow, well if that ain't the most fascist, non-free-thinking way to deal with the situation.

So, at that point, all my respect, all my deference towards teachers was lost, I strolled over and punched the guy out with two blows.

See where free thinking gets you now ;) SIR!

Senior year of high school, called one of my female teachers "sir."

It was a known fact that this teacher was a lesbian and I guess my subconscious mind took over for a brief moment, hahaha.

on my senior year I called my Theater teacher "mami" (for babe) and she kicked me out of the class for a week... She was 25, I was 18...

needless to say, I found her when Iwas 22, she was29...at a local Pub, I felt weird bangin' her later on... lasted about 1 year tho.(the relationship, not the banging),well, that too, but you understand.... :shifty:

I haven't but someone in my class did and my brother says he has too. We were about 11 or 12 and the whole class was silent doing work and the guy must have got stuck and said "Mum..." then the whole class was silent for a moment before laughter broke out, including the teacher  He was so embarrased, i'm glad it has never happened to me.

It's weird that it would happen, has anyone ever called a male teacher Dad? Or even worse, called a Male teacher Mum?!

Not mom, but in fourth grade I called my teacher grandma

ROFL, I nearly died after reading that

I guess some people like to live in fantasy land.

Anyway, no, I've never called a teacher "Mom", but there was one at my school who I wouldn't have minded calling me "Daddy" :shifty:

Unlike njlouch, I live in reality, and no, that didn't happen either.
