1.5mbps down/850kbps up ADSL

$52 a month after all the hidden fees through MSN+Qwest. No phone line service though, just DSL.

At best i get about 150KB/s down and upload about 80KB/s up. 150KB/s down is a little less then what I calculate for a 1.5mbps line.

1,500,000 (bits/s) / 8 (bits/byte) = 187,500 bytes/s

Sometimes I'll see it jump up to 170KB/s, but thats the fastest I've seen it. Pretty satisfied with bandwidth not so happy with latency. Once the bits start flowing, they flow good. Getting connection initiated take longer then I'd like.

At best I'll get about 80ms in a multiplayer FPS. Usually get around 120ms+, though.

i currently have shaw cable

5mbit down

i unno how much up

i thhink its like 60 gig cap

i m on a free three month trial but for full cable and internet from shaw it is like $80 OBO a month

at home i have a 4mbps cable connection..

this is at my school.. and mind that there are 100 pc's in the lab.. imagine i was the only pc browsing..
