KeeperOfThePizza
I have nVidia Geforce FX5200 (256mb) and I'm downloading the vista 32bit drivers for vista beta 5219 and it says the drivers are not compatible with the hardware?... :( p.s- restarting uxss.exe from time to time stops it from running sluggish, but very weird. DarkBlade
I have nVidia Geforce FX5200 (256mb) and I'm downloading the vista 32bit drivers for vista beta 5219 and it says the drivers are not compatible with the hardware?... :(p.s- restarting uxss.exe from time to time stops it from running sluggish, but very weird. 586651499[/snapback] The regular 32-bit ones for WinXP work (78.01 I think are the latest official ones on their site?), and it'll give you the Glass and Aero effects and all that jazz, but it kills support for D3D, so you won't be able to run apps that use D3D. Like, the games that were bundled with Vista, for instance. And on that note, is there any middle gound between having DWM stuff enabled, and having D3D working? Any driver's I've tried so far, as long as I have DWM on, D3D doesn't work. Unless I'm just doing something wrong...but I've read around the forum and found this to be the just of it. You either get DWM, or D3D. Am I wrong, or is this how it just goes for now? I have a DFI nF4 SLI-DR, with one PCI-E 6800GT. Had a second one, but I figure I'll not screw around with SLI and Vista just yet. :p New here, so...go easy on me. Edited October 11, 2005 by DarkBlade

b0m8er
Is there another LDDM driver for GeForce cards, except for the one posted on nvidia.com? Cause it does not work for me... I'm running a modified version that supports my 6800 Go card, and it worked fine with Beta 1 and PDC builds.
