Pointers for cleaning hardware?

Recommended Posts

Do not have any sodas in the vicinity of your computer desk. A friend was cleaning out his case and opened a Coke. Needless to say, the Coke sprayed his Athlon MP computer and fried EVERYTHING in a huge blaze. The only thing he was able to salvage: his case... to restore his computer, it took about $5000+. Don't reiterate his mistake and follow my advice.

you dont want to was it in the sink... lol jk

no, keep it on a hard surface that would not have static (no carpet) used the compressed air and dont spray the can upside down so the liquid comes out and you get condensation.

My uncle told me he uses like 409, but I was like "wtf, 409 on lcd?"

IF i were you, I would just get the SMALLEST drop of water you can possibly find, go to your local sink, and pick some up there, and just rub it SLIGHTLY on the paper towel. then clean the moniter by going down, start from the top again, go down, dont go back up, just go to the top and keep going down, no swirlies/circles.
