arg, i suck, i cant use clist modern for some reason i keep getting errors and it wont open right, and i cant talk it minimizes when i click something

can someoen pm me a link to download the whole miranda im folder of theres using this clist with the same mods? plz

it looks so nice

Niiiiiiiice.

Only thing is, there's some of inconsistancy between the different versions. Some of them have a faded line under group names, some of them have selected states, whilst some don't :(

Other than this, which I guess you'll probly fix in the next version anway, great skin (Y)

@spex04: there are no inconsistancies. the most basic versions (both black and white) use solid lines for the group seperators and has a translucent solid colour for the selected item.

the "slick" versions (both black and white) use faded lines for group seperators and has a more streamlined design for the selected object. the titlebar versions use the same elements.

@cheazles: the font is Avantgarde Medium (something like that). it comes with the area04 visual style.

@Oompa: yes there is, it's somewhere in the options. you can set it to automatically resize to a set percentage of your screen resolution :)

i will be making scroll bars in the next version. i have made a list of what should be expected in the next version on the first post

Great skin! Alas, I seem to have a problem with using clist modern... I just d\l it (been using clist_nicer for ages). Anyway, heretofore, I tried two skins (yours and Crystal), both end up making my clist look like this -

The transparency is messed up for some reason. Any idea what may cause this problem?

Thanks in advance!!!! :)

Peace.

Do you perchance have the tweakui dll addon enabled? I had that as a holdover from the ancient days, and since it was not messing up with clist_nicer, i had never disabled it. However, it really does not work with clist_modern at all, and causes graphical messups similar to what you are showing. mine was a series of black rectangles, and would not go away until i disabled the tweakui addon.

Ah right, my bad. Just thought that they were *supposed* to be the same. Nevermind, I might mod it myself to get the gradiented (sp?) seps all over, but very nice skin anyway.

Good job (Y)

Ya did that. Now when I run it it says error message miranda32.exe cant run. Then it shuts down...

To stop it doing that, you're gonna have to delete your profile, and start all over again.. :pinch: It's the file in the miranda directory called <profile name here>.dat

That's the only way I know of getting it to actually start again.

Is there Miranda-IM for Linux?

From the Miranda website...

Supported OS Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000 & XP

So, nope..

Anyway, this is the ModernClear release thread, not the Miranda Customisation Thread, where that should've been posted :p

Thanks!

Ummm, tweakui.dll wasn't it. I Forgot to mention it before, but the imgdecoder.dll had been giving me a hard time. Even though it's in my plugin directory, it doesn't show up under Options->Plugins, hence I can't get it to work/enable it. This has never happened to me before.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance~!

ImgDecoder won't show up under plugins, as it's not a Miranda plugin, it's only used by clist_modern.dll..

Hum, well disabling tweakui did the trick, however,

Sexy, i know.

What lengths are you supposed to adjust?

586669206[/snapback]

You could jsut resize the width, for the length you could check the option

Automatically resize the height of buddy list.

Which makes things proportion from teh length up and doesnt hide any buddy. (like the screenshot)

    • Well Statcounter doesn't count Edge users as Chrome. It uses the user agent and my understanding is the Brave browser users the standard Chrome user agent for privacy/tracking reasons and compatibility so that would help the Chrome numbers. Some Firefox users change the user agent for again compatibility reasons. I am going to totally guess the Chrome numbers are inflated some 5 or 6%.
