Steven P. Administrators Posted October 13, 2005 Administrators Share Posted October 13, 2005 I wonder if anyone else gets this, when i add the Vista PC to a domain I can login fine as a domain user, but if I login as Administrator and then reboot, the domain user I added is gone :s The only way to get it back is by re-adding the computer to the domain and then re-adding the user again. The login screen doesn't give me a choice to logon locally or on a domain. I bugged this, and another issue where domain users who are logged in as local administrators can't add/remove or manage hardware. The fix was to disable UAP :/ seems a bit off as a fix to me. petroid
You should be able to login as a domain user or a local user by clicking "Log on as another user..." To log on locally: \\<nameofpc>\username \\windowsvista\administrator To use the domain: user@domain administrator@thezone or \\domain\user \\thezone\user
