DrunkenMaster
For one Word is a word processor, it shouldn't have fancy looks to it and such. At the least I hope you can turn of the fancy theme and go back to a 2000 look. Outlook, as always, doesn't seem well organized as in previous versions. The main reason they're not "reinventing" everything is they don't want to ostrasize the existing user base. The only thing that I like from the new screenies is the possibility to do UML diagrams in Word. That looks like a nice feature.
JK1150
I'm glad to see it's actually gonna be an upgrade, unlike Office 2003 was to XP.

Anyone who uses it regularly would realize that it was a real upgrade.
Ghostdraconi
I like the new UI, but I'm kind of angry that Outlook's UI won't be changing. It's by far the program I use the most in Office, and the UI is great now, but a fresh UI is always nice. 586667858[/snapback] I thought that they where going to change all the UI's. There is even a screenshot out with an upated Outlook Interface. http://pdc.xbetas.com/?page=o12preview1

Its just fine the way it is. Only few incremental improvements are needed such as better search. The New Message window utilizes Ribbon.
