    • No, there's no point. I just play games and read Neowin.

    • Yes, if it is free but no if there is a cost other than (targeted) advertising.

I don't agree with having an office suite online. Just something about it bugs me. I prefer using MS Office currently and in the workplace, it's still going to be MS Office.

Okay, we now know that Sun's major annoucement concerning Google was that they will be bundling the Google Toolbar with the Java installer.

Still, the question arises of whether anyone can truely compete with Microsoft Office (the true cash cow of Redmond) and what format it would then take.

Yes but only when I temporarily travel away from my desktop.

Sure I would, but not in the sense that you're probably thinking. I'd like to see a server installed version of MS Office that can be accessed via both intranet and internet, much like Outlook Web Access. It would allow older, slower machines to use more recent versions of Office applications that would otherwise run poorly or in some cases not at all. It would also allow users to run the same version apps no matter what OS they run on their PC. I have several clients that use OWA daily and love the fact that they can use it from anywhere, any machine, and get the same results. If they could do that with other Office applications they'd be elated.
