sgtLENIN Posted July 18, 2002 Share Posted July 18, 2002 ey! turned on my computer, was going to play come.. but! all my cd-roms er gone (i have one ide and two scsi)! this is what i get in the device manager: on the IDE pioneer drive: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" the plextor scsi: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41) the toshiba is there and it says its working. but its not vicible in "my computer". also, the IDE drive shows up in the bios and is set to auto. the only driver thingie i have installed the past days are the new creative drivers for my soundcard but these are uninstalled. thanks for any help! trond Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sgtLENIN Posted July 20, 2002 Author Share Posted July 20, 2002 hmm.. thanks.. but to late :/ i used the repair XP function but its a file it cant find on the xp cd. some asms file or some )(?&)% so i installed a new copy on another partition. now i cant get into the old one because the ****ing repair function comes all the time. argh!
