1ofmany Posted August 6, 2001 Share Posted August 6, 2001 I want to use my RC2 longer than 180 days. I know there was some way to do it when installing RC1, but it doesn't work under RC2. Kheldar Posted August 6, 2001 Share Posted August 6, 2001 If you locate the reset3 crack it comes with a setupreg.hiv file that you place in the i386 folder of your install cd. beats the 180 days, but at the end of the day why bother? rtm is out this month and relase not far after that :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kheldar Posted August 8, 2001 Share Posted August 8, 2001 Yes thats true .. unless you a) Live in a non subscribed country b) Live in the UK where RC1 disks got delivered a week before RC2 came out and RC2 isnt to be shipped until RTM comes out :) Besides cracking is useless, if you dl the builds you'll be installing the new one before the activation period expires .. especially if you use the 60 days key that is around now.
