Tim told me that after this Mac expo in NY the prices of Apple hardware will fall or something is it true?

Only with regards to new hardware being relesed.

For example, new 17" iMac, the top of the range iMac is reduced.

New iPods, prices are reduced all round.

In august perhaps there will be new Powermacs, then old models will be reduced. You see now?

You can get an eMac for $1000 and in the UK I can buy a brand new powermac for 1200.

You can also look out for bargains on refurbs, you'll easily find a G4 tower for around a grand.

theyre saying that the new lowend powermac to be released in august will contain a ghz processor and will sell for the same amount as the current one ;)
