logitech mouse problems with Windows XP

Hi all

I seem to be having problems with my logitech wheel mouse ( optical ) ..... the problem is that after about 10 minutes.......... it cuts off then i have to restart my comp like 3 times for it to work then the same thing is happening again :( ..... any suggestions why this is happening? :( i also noticed even this my mouse is a logitech it is saying that it's a HID-compliant Wheel Mouse. o.O???

CPU : AMD Athlon 800 Mhz

Motherboard : KA7/KA7-100

RAM : 768 SDR ( 133 Mhz )

Video : GeForce 2 MX 400 ( i need a newer video card :p )

Sound : Sound Blaster Audigy Player

OS : Windows XP Professional

HDD : Maxtor 30 GB

Network : Realtek RTL8139A

reinstall the drivers. tell it u wanna pick the driver to install and manually select it.

edit:: ok that was bad. goto your device manager and select the mouse. right click and goto update driver. goto install from list or location. goto i will choose the driver to install. and select "Logitech USB Mouse" then click next.

I have the same mouse- didnt have the problem but its on the compatible drivers list and xp fugged up. maybe u havent been visiting windows update? :ermm:
