except iTunes is brushed metal :x (actually they fixed that up a bit in the new one but now it doesnt match OSX anymore......they should replace all the brushed metal with that)

anyone notice this?

there's a difference in the Cleartype from the WMP11 UI (and taskbar icon) to the rest os the text on the taskbar.

Notice that the text on the clock has the usual Windows XP Cleartype red/blue color decomposing (sub-pixel bla bla bla). Whilist any text related to WMP11 doesn't: the text in the UI, the text on the taskbar entry, the text on the icons that are overlayed by the window's glass effect.

i REALLY hope that they move on to this new antialiasing mode (the one in WMP11) cause it looks drop-dead gorgeous :D

Yup, and it would relieve my eyes. Cleartype with Windows XP, in its current state, murders my eyes at times when viewing text on a CRT.

On topic: this is probably the first version of WMP in years that looks anything like the OS's GUI.

WMP7= barf!

WMP8= not so much like Luna

WMP9= own design

WMP10= nice glass, but own design, and unless you're using a glassy VS it barely fits with the OS (i.e. Royale)
