1759
Mine runs at 33-35 C with a full load, not sure what idle temp is as I run Seti all the time.
nartac
57 degrees celcius is within spec but appears to be a little hot for Athlon XP. I am running thunderbird 1.33ghz overclocked to 1.47ghz and still getting only 41 degrees celcius. If you already have good heatsink and Artic silver already applied, then I suggest to ventilate your case a little better.

username
Anything below 60C is good by AMDs standards, i would say you are a little high, how are the case temps?

username
when you are in the BIOS you CPU is not doing anything really and thus has lower temps, after loading and running windows, games, whatever, your temps always go up, thats "whats" up lol

HalibutStu
your CPU is pretty much idle in bios. concern yourself with the temps under load. my 1.2 tbird goes to 72c after a few hours of B&W. go look in my thread to help me on that one ;)
AgEnTsMiTh
You are well in range. I have the same processor as you and your ok up 90c then your dead LOL. I would be alarmed if you go above 70c but as of right now your fine. I also have spoken to AMD when I first got mine because I was unsure of the safe temps and they told me the above.
