Yes, for the same reason I play with Linux. Because I can use my existing hardware.

I'm seriously contemplating buying a Mac. Yeah, all the mac groupies have won me over...

Although, the probability of OSX on x86 is next to nothing, it would definately be interesting to see. Still, i would much rather run it "natively" on Mac hardware rather than Intel.

I'd use VMWare to test it out and give it a chance, and then I'll do away w/ Windows once I learn everything there is to know about OSX. Does that sound like a plan to you?

Even if I had to pay for it, I would do it without hesitation. OSX is one of the best operating systems I ever used..

PLEASE RELEASE IT FOR X86 APPLE!! :)

Becuase they make the majority of their money selling hardware.

I'd reformat my harddrive and make it my sole OS.

I'd just dual boot. Be aware of the consequences though ... MS would stop making software for it :ermm:

Would I take the Porsche engine out of a 911 Turbo and put it in a Geo Metro and drive around? Nah, I prefer the slick hardware.:)

If Apple's hardware sales start going down south, then we may eventually get OS X for the PC.

I might if I could still dual-boot with XP, but I don't think X is coming out very soon, so I am getting a PowerBook in the coming September to add to my collection.

I would install and test it out... but can't stick to Mac OSX due to the fact that not many software out there support Mac platform...
