H1REN Posted July 20, 2002 Share Posted July 20, 2002 (edited) hi newbie here i have gigabyte motherboard, on motherboard there is a switch for 100/133 for cpu clock (default was on 100) i have AMD Athlon XP 1500+ and i dont have FSB info for this processor gigabyte has option for setup FSB from BIOS,which i have 133 currently does 1500+ mean 1.5 Ghz ? current setting says 1.34 Ghz is this right ? Hiren. thankihiren@hotmail.com athlon xp 1500+ is clocked at 1,33ghz so you are ok. 1500+ mean that it perform better than a p4 1,5ghz. edit : but 1500+ is no more in sale here in canada Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In my own benchmarks my AMD 1.2 (t-bird) even beat a 1.6Ghz P4 system (side by side comparison of running applications and other stuff) so you're 1500+ is a good way to start off.
