Bei337 Share Posted October 23, 2005 So my local stations play some good musics (surprisingly). And I want a home theatre system at the same time. So I'm thinking to get a package that has surround sound for my TV, and has the ability to listen to radio stations. I'm looking for the price around $200 Suggestions? Bei337 Author Share Posted October 23, 2005 Can't decide between these two: Philips: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...%3A77622%3A4477 Pioneer: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...A77622%3A105878
Borbus Share Posted October 23, 2005 You can also get stand alone tuners so you can get any home theater kit, make sure it has spare inputs, and get a seperate tuner for it. That way you have more choice.
Whiffle Share Posted October 23, 2005 If its just bewtween those two then definitly the pioneer. Its got better inputs (optical in), which would be a plus for me... Someone didn't like the phillips here much either: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...187952?v=glance
bangbang023 Veteran Share Posted October 23, 2005 I'd go with the Pioneer. You can almost always expect quality from them.
