Vista Boot Manager?

Recommended Posts

I have XPSP2, and Vista 5231 installed, the first time I went through and installed Vista I kinda screwed something up when trying to get some of the OEM drivers installed. So I formatted the drive, and installed Vista 5231 again to it, and now within the bootmanager, I had an entry for the legacy OS (XPSP2) and two entries/options for Microsoft Windows, which both link to the Vista 5231 partition, I removed one of the entries from the XPSP2 Boot.ini file, and that killed the option to boot to vista in the XP Generation boot loader. But both Vista links in the Vista Bootmanager are still there.

Quesiton one is this: how do I get rid of one of the entries for "Microsoft Windows"

Question two: How can I boot XPSP2 from the new bootmanager, I tried to copy over Bootloader from system32 in Vista, and then edited the boot.ini file and set up the use new loader, and that provides nothing.

Thanks,

~Frost
