thetombraider
I removed an ethernet card from my sister's computer to put into mine, but her computer is a small case, so the only cards that fit are the low-profile (half-size) cards. My computer is a full size tower, and I was able to remove the thing that would cover the back hole that attaches to the device, and that allowed it to be inside my PC. However, I removed it before powering back up just to ask some people if they would recommend doing this. So, would this bring catastrophe to my computer? Or could I do this? kjordan2001
If it's pci, it should work, although you can get a network card for $15, so it would be cheap to get one that actually fits your case.
