RaGnAzN
I just got a gf3 ti500 visiontek today and was wondering what is best thing to use to overclock it. I have the factory fan on it and i have a slot fan but its not on right now. What should i OC it to like to be safe but will give me gains or is it not worth it to oc for like 1 fps? Thanks. Roger H. Veteran Posted July 20, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 20, 2002 i'm always surprised at this... i got a GF3 TI 200 and i don't even OC it. It's at 175/400Mhz (DDR) and it can reach 210/500Mhz (DDR) with normal cooling and i still don't even overclock it. Why bother... it shortens the life of the core so thas why i don't. This card is more than enough for the games out now... when UT 2003 comes out i'll pump it up a lil more. use cooledit.reg and OC it using the drivers. search on google and it'll alow you to overclock it up to some good speeds... :) just click the test button untill it doesn't work then you'll know wha tyour max is. Then gimmie some 3DMark2001 SE Scores
