Oh ok, in other words, it's good for grabbing frames. Making actual GIFS, I'd need a gif maker I suppose. I have little experience, but I did make one once, from PS scratch though (not from mpeg).

Sweet! I'll have to try this.

TMgEnc is working good Username, but I can't figure out how to start at a specific part. I had it working, but it grabbed 400 images within the first 5 seconds of the movie. I only want a small section, not thousands of jpegs or bitmaps.

Which option? I am looking around, but I don't see it. Do you enter a time somewhere? I would like to use this, instead of downloading anything else. Blaze media is 12 megs and I'm on Dialup. EECK! LOL I guess I can try Virtual Dub if I can't figure out TMPGenc

good, load up the mpg, go to configure, advance (tab), the double click on sounce fram range, then go to where you want the picture and set the start fram and end fram the same and click OK. Then export to BMP, open it in paint and you shoud be able to save for gif or jpg

Actually I have Flash 5 on backup somewhere, but Tmpg worked good. Thanks though.

This worked like a charm. I actually could even import it directly to jpegs. I have 32 jpegs now. Obviously I'll have to cut this down a bit. Thanks :D I'll reply with my creation if I can figure out how to make a decent gif.

Trying Gif Movie Gear for the GIF. I suppose I could wait it out and get Blaze media Pro and directly go from mpeg to gif as well. Anyway, I am really impressed from the quick and useful replies here.

I used Gif Movie Gear from the jpegs I made. I made a new Avatar. I hope it's working ;)

Oh it's working. I had to delete my Temp Internet files. Everyone like it? It's from Tool's Vid "Parabola"

Yeah I was trying to animate it. I guess I wasn't clear on what I was trying to do. Anyway, all is well.
