optionalreaction
Is this the stuff off Star Trek only, or real today?
Laurë Veteran Posted October 27, 2005 Veteran Share Posted October 27, 2005 I voted no. I do not believe it is possible. Where people claim to have experienced telepathy, I would explain it as coincidence, knowing someone really well or having similar ways of thinking. So you may be able to 'predict' what they think due to past experience, or you simply think the same things because of similarities in interests/opinions or whatever. Bamsebjørn
If telepathic experiences are co?ncidence then I think I'm living a very co?ncidental life. Honoustly, I can be really affected by others emotions, even from great distances. It's like a sixth sense, or instinct, to know how someone else feels. I have taken it to the test with my cousin multiple times. We've trained together. He can start telling a story that I've never heard and halfway through the story I can continue his story in his words... and tell exactly what he wanted to tell. Same goes the other way around. Our dog always sits by the door at evening, and it's always about 10 minutes before my dad gets home. If the dog doesn't sit by the door yet, my dad is late... and I could bet all my money on it that it's true: If the dog sits by the door, my dad gets home:):) So, yes, it's possible, reliably.
