SimGuy
Depends on the type of power connections in your new case (which I would imagine is ATX) and the motherboard. If you are going to be purchasing a new case and motherboard (which will be ATX), then there is no hard-wired power button. There is a 2-wire lead (usually white and green) that comes from the power button and is routed into a pin-attachment assembly consisting of a black plastic connector assembled in a 2x1 layout. It is connected to the accessory pin-row on your motherboard (usually located in the bottom left corner of your motherboard). Hope this helps you out :) For more information on making the connections, try checking the documentation included with your new motherboard (which can usually be found online in Adobe Acrobat format at the motherboard manufacturers website.)
