Do you know that somone at Toronto got arrested a couple of months ago for saying he wanted to make abomb on irc?

RCMP and FBI want home the same day!

You should stop saying stuff like that even if this is "only" internet

Oh man I forgot about my potato gun!

2" bore, 3ft barrel, 6" x 12 or 18" Chamber runs on right guard, aquanet hairspray or WD40, complete with electronic ignition, will launch a potato 1/4 mile, well at least I think it does, I can never find the potato after i've launched it...

Call me a gun nut all you want, but I'd rather have a gun and not need it than need it and not have it. I love seeing all these wondeful stereotypes on here, too bad they usually have nothing to do with reality.

I can see the point in having a hunting rifle if you hunt. But what the hell is the point of an AK-47, or a Glock. I highly doubt that you go hunting with a glock or AK-47. Guns are useless, they were made to kill....

.410.. yuck.

They're not 'mine' persay, but I know how to operate and clean them all.

Glock

3 12-guages, a pump(mine, use for clay shooting and hunting), double barrel, and my dad's semi-automatic.

And a .410

That sentence contradicts itself...thats pretty cool.... They are useless, and yet their primary use is...killing.

glock - self defense/police/war

AK-47 -- war

Here's my marlin 30-30 lever, very "quaint".

I want a tommy gun next, followed by the civilian model P-90.

Edit: The pic is a reference pic from Marlin, but I assure you mine looks just the same with some nice scratches on the wood for added effect.

When people say they "go shooting" what are they talking about? Just not something I come across in the Uk

To the poll, No. I Just fell really uncomfortable holding something that can take someones life, but that's just me.

As for me when I go shooting, it is target shooting. Its a lot of fun to shoot clay pigeons or skeet as some call it. That is the classic throw the thing in the air and shoot it. Clay pigeon shooting is a blast (no pun intended). As with rifles or other non-shotgun firearms it usually is stationary target shooting. SOmething that is fun is to set up a gallon jug of water and shoot that. It explodes and goes everywhere. Basically you just get together and shoot at targets, not necessarily the classic bull's eye target. I don't see why people feel uncomfortable around guns, can't a car take someones life? It's all in how you use it.

Yes I own 3. 22, 45 and 30-30. I like the 22 the best for target shooting, cheapest anyway. I don't hunt anymore so I should sell the 30-30. It's funny to me how many people on this forum are so clueless. You know, I could really live fine without guns I hardly ever fool with them. But to me, anyone wanting guns taken away from the population deserves to live in a dictatorship. After all, Hitler thought taking guns away was step #1. "Only the police should have firearms" were his thoughts exactly.
