FatCat Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 I got my new PC with on board sound and it's quit good but the problem I'm having is when I try to play something with sound like music and I try to do something else on my computer like press the start button the music stops jammes up hisses but when I do nothing but play music and don't touch it it works fine, I tried a standalone sound card and still get the same problems please help me it's driving me nutz!!!:mad: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AOXOMOXOA Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 i am also using an ecs k7s5a mobo here at work. running xp pro and using the drivers off of the mobo cd. and i have no problems. have you tried reinstalling xp. i know that sucks but the point is . if you reinstall and you still get the same thing it is most likley a problem with the board. i build alot of systems using ecs boards and i have never had this happen.
