Led Zepplin was before my time and my Dad never listened to them. I like Oasis's music. However, they are two different genres, so it's kinda hard to compare them.

Led Zeppelin for sure no questions. This certainly isnt a which is better poll though...more of a how old were you when Oasis was popular poll. Not that I don't like them, just that they didnt really leave a lasting impression.

Led Zeppelin is way better than Oasis there's really no comparison. Unless Oasis really are considered the second coming of the Beatles in the UK I have a hard time coming to terms with how this is even debatable. And I know they think they're the new Beatles but they have a hell of a way to go for that, but they haven't even gotten close to zep's standards.

Oh and they're 2 different genres, can't really compare Ten Days Gone to Champaign Supernova can you?

Led Zeppelin had a bigger impact on music and people and I also happen to like their music a LOT more then Oasis.... For me they shouldn't even be compared (that's how much zeppelin is better then oasis IMHO)

Oasis couldn't hold a pinky to Led Zeppelin. Wonderwall compared to Stairway To Heaven? Are you kidding me?

Bah, I cant friggin stand 'Champaign Supernova'.

Im more of the Oasis Generation than the Zeppelin Generation, but I vote Zeppelin all the way, because I cant stand all the pompousness and pretense and bickering that is Oasis.

But I do like "Sally can wait", "****ing in the Bushes", and one other one whos title I cant remember atm.

Lets see Oasis come out with a jam that as good as Led's "rock n roll"

Matter of fact lets see any band come out with ajam nearly as good as that one, its a song that no matter what music genre you grew up listening to, you just have to get out your seat and start grooving.

Led Zeppelin vs. Oasis? Are you freakin' kidding me? That's like compairing Kelly Clarkson to Madonna! Yeah, they're both pop, just like Zep and Oasis are both Rock, but not only is their music completely different, they aren't even on the same plane of existance. Led Zeppelin is one of the most influential bands of all time looking at any genre. Madonna, even if you don't like her music, has also been VERY influential in all genres of music. Oasis and Kelly Clarkson? They've had some songs in the Billboard top-ten and sold a lot of albums... that's it.

I actually really like Oasis and I think Kelly Clarkson is actually an excellent singer and even like a few of her songs, but to say they're even close to on the same level as the legends of music history is just silly. That said, I think the question may be more of a "which would you prefer to listen to" sort of question, and I'm sure many kids today wouldn't even consider buying a Led Zeppelin CD if they even know who they are at all. In that sense I can see how people would choose Oasis, they're a more modern band, musical sensibilites change with each generation.

Sorry but this is not even an option, not even debatable.

Those that voted for Oasis, take a second to listen again. Really listen.

No doubt that Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest, most influential rock bands ever.

Oasis had a couple of hits sure. There is simply no comparison.
