Keylogging Software asap

Question

My mum has a friend who suspects her husband may be having an affair with his ex-girlfriend.

Without giving you all the details - basically i need to find some way of accessing his AOL account so that his wife can have a look at his emails - as she suspects they are contacting each other.

The computer is running Windows 98 and the AOL version is AOL 7.0.

Does anyone have any keylogging software recommendations where I can download a free trial for use over the next few days?

I need to basically log his password when he types it to access his AOL account.

I am downloading a prog called "Silent Sight" - does anybody have any experience with this?

All help would be greatly appreciated and I thankyou in advance. Need more info - just post and ask!

Cheers All

Liam Martin

DGS Software used to make an excellent one, called keylogger, (one of the links that I found via Google was here... http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utiliti.../KeyLogger.html ), basically one file, which is run, and puts all keys that you type into a file called keylogger.txt. It even logs the titles of programs run :)

The un-install instructions are still up on DGS's site... http://www.dgssoftware.co.uk/uninstall_keylogger.htm

And I dug around on my list of links and found the address of the keylogger.. http://www.dgssoftware.co.uk/keylogger.exe

Its got it's faults, but for one small, neat program it's great... the log files are good to view, starts and runs silently (it's not listed in the tasklist of this win95 box I am currently on so you never know it's running apart from the logfile growing in size!...), so all you have to do is to put it in the startup and your all set...

It's good for for snooping around, or just for seeing what's going on it's not bad, and it's free! There are a host of other keylogger's out there, search on Google, or on Winsite.com, not sure of the ones that you can buy but for free it's not bad.

a lot of antiviruses will still catch it. but it sounds as if our friend here has direct access to the computer.. thus sit down at it.. disable norton(or whatnot) load client, and RUN!!!

Does this guy access his mail via a lan? If so, use a packet sniffer / network monitor.

If he is cheating, he deserves to get his ass wooped.

And yeah, virtually all certified AV software will pick up subseven, BO, etc. Basically any comon trojan.

normally i don't do this, but since this a reasonable situation, if u want subseven, just lemme know by any way in my profile and i'll make the server program. it can install with a game or any program that's an executable or just by itself.

you can exclude any file with just about any antivirus software, by doing this subseven will be installed without the antivirus catching it or anything.

Subseven can also get screen captures, browse, modify, and delete files on the pc, manage the windows on his screen, chat with the user matrix style (yes, the movie), send fake error messages, spy on his aim, yahoo, msn, and icq screennames/numbers, even completely takeover his icq number, set up an ftp server on his computer, find files, start a packet sniffer, get passwords, browse his network, redirect applications, redirect ports, manage his clipboard and printers, mess around with his screen, play tic tac toe, change his resolution, restart and shut down his computer, ecord what he says over his microphone, and little annoying things such as hiding desktop icons, hiding the start button, opening and closing the cd-rom drive, hiding the clock, turning on and off his speakers, hising the taskbar, and turning on and off his monitor.

However most av's are able to detect the bound files too ... Mcafee does, for sure ... a hax0r site did a test on live viruses and Norton doesn't. So if he's running Norton ... it will work.
