The version was bumped from 1.1.7.2 to 1.2 due to the significance of the changes. Note however that Unicode is not yet supported, but it will be available soon. Also, the changes for the unofficial 1.1.8.RC1 version are listed below. See it's finally crossed the 100KB mark though, but at less than 105KB, it is pretty amazing considering how full a client this now is! All I want now is UDP Tracker support..
