User6060
after about 60 they become less of a smooth motion and of jerky tired half assed push ups.
eric zed
Football practice really helped me. I am 6"2 and weigh (as of Friday) 192 lbs. I play Offensive Tackle if interested. :p Last I checked in 45 seconds I could do 38. The longest I've done was about 74. Then I just get tired. Wado
I can generally reel off about 70 on any given day. Give me a few days to prepare and I could break 100+. I can manage about 30 one handed pushups on each side. I know a guy who used to punch out over 200+

JohnMarsten
I workout regulary (6 days a week), but I've never done regular pushups in the longest time, right now I do ones in which I elevate my feet on one of those balls (about 1m) and then do them with my chest touching the ground, at the end of my chest workout, I get off about 60. skiiper
I can do about 50. Once in highschool I saw some grade 8 kid do 80 pushups. it was amazing. And those arent half-assed pushups either, he did it with his chest touching the floor and he did it kind of slow too.

Then the next day no matter how bad you hurt you try and do the same amount, then do that for a few days then do more then you did and so on? I can do about 500 pushups in a day and i can only do about five per side.
