saxondale.
Why is it that all flat screen TV's i'v seen are all pixelated? Even from high end sony ones, to low end LCDs. Is it due to the programs being shown? Even on HD LCDs it happens. This happens mainly to the bigger TVs, from about 32" up. Edited November 10, 2005 by saxondale. S.MULLA
yeah, i've noticed that too, i thinks its the content thats being played- cus its only at 480res or something. HD content on a HD screen is fantastic @ 720 or 1080 res. but majority of the large retail stores like dixons/currys dont tune screens to the optimum-therefore it all looks blurry and pixelated. bangbang023 Veteran Posted November 15, 2005 Veteran Share Posted November 15, 2005 There are two factors as to why this would be: 1. The content isn't HD. Any non HD (I mean 720p/1080i/1080p) is going to appear poorly because of the fixed pixel nature of the sets. 2. On larger LCD's, the individual pixels are larger. Martog
This holds true for LCD's you use on the PC's, you run them below native rez, and the picture is distorted or pixilated. :) Just what LCD's do when running in lower than native rez.
