You need to download administrative update which weights around 40 megs. Also you need to do some "fixing" before you can apply the update. Use search button to find a topic related to this. It was discussed two days ago as i can recall.

Use the adminstrator update.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/off...-us/oxpsp1a.exe

Then follow these instructions

==================================================

===============================

Instructions for updating Office XP Professional w/ Frontpage -

Corporate Edition

==================================================

===============================

NOTE: In these instructions, I assume your cd-rom drive is "D".

Replace "D"

with whatever your cd-rom drive really is.

1. Put your Office XP CD in your cd-rom drive.

2. Click Start -> Run...

3. Type "D:setup /a" (This will install a VALID ADMINISTRATIVE POINT

INSTALLATION)

4. Specifiy the Origanization/CD-Key/Location.

(For the sake of these instructions, leave it at C:Office)

5. Let it install -- this will take a while

6. Extract the oxpsp1a.exe to C:adminupdate

7. Click Start -> Run...

8. Type "msiexec /p C:adminupdateMAINSP1_Admin.msp /a

C:Officeproplus.msi"

Do not change any information during this part. Just let it

continue.

Let it proceed. This may take some time to continue.

9. Click Start -> Run...

10. Type "msiexec /p C:adminupdateOWC10SP1_Admin.msp /a

C:Officeowc10.msi"

Do not change any information during this part. Just let it

continue.

Let it proceed. This may take some time to continue.

11. Click Start -> Run...

12. Type "msiexec /i C:Officeproplus.msi

REINSTALL=ALLREINSTALLMODE=vomus"

Let it proceed. This may take some time to continue.

13. Congratulations! You now have upgraded to Microsoft Office XP

Professional SP1!

Please confirm by loading any install Office application (relating

to Office XP Pro)

and checking the about box. It should state 'SP1' and the version

number should end with '3501'.

14. You may now delete C:adminupdate and C:Office. The contents of

C:Office may be burned to a CD for a direct, possibly keyless (it was

for

me but have not tested it on a machine that did not have it installed

previously) Office XP Pro w/ Frontpage SP1 CD Installer. As usual, it

will

also be activation-less as well.
