Router question

Question

todd_2005    0

My router is about 4 years old and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a new one or not. The one I have now is a Belkin. Does a newer one offer better security and speed? I have heard that Linksys is pretty good, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would recommend getting a new one, For new features, Better security, Faster speeds, ect... and there cheap enough to get.

I guess it is about as secure as you make it. there are some guides around neowin.

Basic stuff, enable the firewall, use wpa or wpa2. do not use wep.

some people say the can break wep in 10 minutes.
