jimbo12141 Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 Hey there guys, Created this poll & thread to see intrest in sponsoring me to climb a mountain in aid of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) JDRF No system is set up yet but i just want to get intrest and see how much i could possibly get to go towards JDRF after the climb. Im planning to climb "Mera Peak" next november, the mountain is located in Nepal and is 6,654 meters 21,830 feet. Its my next step of climbing from UK/Africa/S.America to the Himalayas. It will take place in my gap year (november 2006) after i finish my Alevels. The reason for JDRF is because my sister was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last september (type 1 diabetes is where you have to inject yourself). Again this is just to see how much people from this forum alone would be intreseted in supporting me, obviously when i do set the system up i will have a link to the JDRF page with content about me in a news article on the page to prove that this isnt one big scam etc etc. Any comments would be greatly appreciated Thanks for your intrest Conrad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
