stokd
Grrr... I have a Lexmark X73 and all of a sudden it started doing the stupidest thing. When it goes to print, the paper goes through all crooked and cockeyed. Every single time, and it didn't do it until today and I've had it for a few months now. I went through the Lexmark troubleshooting and all it says is make sure you load the paper properly and I've done that! Can someone PLEASE help me? I really need to use my printer and it's acting up! AAARGGGHHHH! :right:
Crash
Have you opened it up? It sounds like a roller on one side is either slipping or does not have enough tension to pull the paper in properly.. just a thought.
LUTZIFER
If it's broken, call Lexmark, their excellent when it comes to replacing printers. I had a Lexmark printer, and over the years, little rollers started breaking off one by one. So I called them up. All I wanted was some new peices, but they said they'd just send me a new one. The printer was about 5 years old then and I doubt there was even any warrenty still, but Lexmark never even asked, all they wanted was my address and the type of printer. Had a new one right to my door from them in 3 days, no charge to me. I live in BC, Canada, and the printer came from somewhere down south in the States. Quite far from me. They said put my old printer in the box that had the new one and send it back to them, by the courier who dropped the new one off, prepaid by Lexmark. Now thats service.
