SamNeeds
Hey all, I recently aquired a 350D (bought from mrk!). I'm slowly getting used to the camera, its feature set, capabilitys and so on. However, i have a question for all of you. I've read the manual and so on, and have found information on exposures. But, i cannot find out how to specify what length (in seconds) the exposure should be. What mode (on the 350D) do you use to achieve the effect? Pink Floyd Veteran Posted November 17, 2005 Veteran Share Posted November 17, 2005 You have to set yourself the shutter speed. I don't know about XT but there should be a roll button on the top to choose speed priority and near your index, another roll to increase and decrease speed. The nikon mode is S, and Canon, if I can remember correctly, is tv mode Personally, that is one of the many reasons why I bought the D50 over the XT, because of the roll neat the thumb for the D50 compared to the index for the xt (personnal choice) you should be fine this way
Dallas
Yes, set the camera to tv mode and with the little roller thing (that a technical name "roller thing") change it to whatever length you want.
