mimeryme
note: bold sentences = main point to long post :x Could someone please advise me on what I should purchase for my needs? I like the idea of wireless despite the batteries needed and am willing to do the research as to which device drains the least batteries. I currently have a regular MS wheel mouse hooked up to my PC. I miss my Logitech Mouseman Wheel (old design) and it's extra button. I have discounted MS mice as their extra buttons are flimsy to me and the right side extra button is a weird place for it. Any words against this? Maybe I just don't know better. :D Aha, yes. I am considering Logitech's new cordless Trackball. It has the extra button I need and won't need a straight surface cursor control as long as my fingers can maneuver the ball. However, I'm concerned that a trackball would not do for me in games that require precision and speed (FPS' and the sort). Has anyone tried a trackball with an FPS game? Then again, a wireless anything usually lags compared to wired huh. Btw, for those that remember. I'm the sucker who bought a refurb Cordless Keyboard Mouse combo that had the non detected mouse. I ordered the receiver from Logitech, but it's on backorder and I'll cancel it if I get a good replacement. Argh. Now I have to worry about two wireless devices. They might interfere. Yelp. :dead: For those who read the above rambling and can come up with advice. Thanks a lot. :D
condorstats
I have heard that track ball is better for FPs and the like for accuracy and speed.

NOS482
I love my Micro$oft Trackball Explorer Optical (USB). It is so much easier to use than an old fashion mouse. You never have to worry about having enough desk space to move it around and since it's optical there is next to no maintainance either.
