Quicktime Problem


Question

Im using IE6 (no SP1 - but fully updated through WinUpd page) with quicktime 5 and now 6 ! (windows xp pro)

the problem is that when i go to view quicktime videos through http the movie WONT load...

:(

no error no nothing... just blank..

is there a fix to this ?

Do you see this in the bottom left hand corner after clicking on a link to a .mov file?...

If u do then the file has to download completely onto your hard drive first before being

able to play back in your browser.

That screenie you posted doesn't have that little arrow like I was showing you. Its not what I thought might be happening. Have you tried reinstalling QT? Is the "Play videos in web sites" checked under the advanced IE properties?

well i moved from 5 to 6 thinking that i would fix the problem..

still nothing ...

the only way to see any trailer is by downloading directly as a .mov :(

go into the MIME settings and enable quicktime movies

edit/prefrences/quicktime prefrences/MINE Settings and see what needs check there in the streaming and video options

I have a similiar problem, except it happens with both quicktime and mpeg movies - the movie will not appear in a browser window until it has fully downloaded. Anyone know how to solve this?
