I bought the HP PhotoSmart R607 (4.1MP, 3x Optical/7x Digital) a month ago. I am certainly See how grainy it is. Why is there a bluish tinge on every photo? I am using the default setting (Image quality setting: ***).

Can anyone recommend any good digital photography forums?

Blueish tinge could be from the lighting reflecting off the blue surfaces (most likely), or because you have a tungsten (blueish) flash. The grains could be appearing because your camera is automatically setting the ISO to high, so try to select it manually if you can!

Hope that helps :)

yup, try lowering ISO lower than 400. Try 200 and 100 if that helps

the blueish image can also because of a wrongly set white balance

your camera seems to have some predefinied white balance setting

try to play with them to increase temperature (Kelvin)
