david.
OK, I'll be short. On the following question... Q: What type of computer do I need to use *****ONLINE? ...I get this answer... A: Computing and Information Services supports the following as a minimum hardware configuration the following: Pentium Processor Windows 98/2000 or NT 32 MB of RAM (64MB recommended) SVGA Monitor 10 Base-T Network card with RJ-45 connection port So, does this imply that my computer with AMD processor will be able to use ****ONLINE as well? Thanks in advance. [EDIT] Pentium Processor =?=?= AMD processor

YahoKa
Yes you can probably use an AMD (99.9% sure it will work)
loki_rising
I think what he is asking is about standard min req for programs and internet. You can use an AMD processor for going online with what ever ISP you want. Just substitute Intel processor for a x86 processor (PC clone.)

phantomAI
it better work...if a mac can work in universities, so can an AMD. I don't see a difference on how going online can be different from Intel or AMD processors. Intel has brainwashed all the schools
