Draconian Guppy
I use a software firewall on all my devices, and a well config'ed hardware router / firewall / NAT all-in-one job...Seems to cope with all things I chuck at it, but Common Sense is still needed. 586848227  Nope. No Firewall, No Antivirus, & No Anti-Spyware. 586852921  I used to use software firewall, but that was when around 9-10 people used the same PC in the same house  , Now that I have my own pc in my own room, don't think I need it... nor a hardware firewall... darkpuma
Firewalls are for sissies :p (or people on really bad campus networks...) Havn't used a firewall at all, except for my 1 year in residence.
W3bbo
Router integrated hardware firewall here. I haven't had the best of experiences with software firewalls, they cause more problems than they solve. (Such as massive system resource usage). Besides, when you're behind a NAT software firewalls only provide outbound protection, something I don't really need since I regularly watch all outgoing connections with TCPView and what processes are open. ...except if, of course, I got hit by a rootkit, but I can't see that happening. (Plus I don't buy Sony CDs anyway)
