phunny_pharmer Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 hey guys, i've been trying to do this for three years now and google hasn't been able ot provide me wiht enough information to do it. i was trying to setup a ftp server so taht my friend scan download the pictures from different ocassions but the problem is that i'm on a network so my ip is different than my external ip. im using a rt314 netgear router and i followed instructions by inserting the correct port for the correct ip(within teh network) yet, it still does not wokr and it gets me a little fustrated when i can't figure it out. i have tried two different server programs and now i am uusing serv-u. it wokrs well on 192.168.0.3:21 but not with my rogers cable ip. if anyone can hlep me it would be really greatful. thanks soo mcuh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
