hdtv or hdtv monitor?

Recommended Posts

they are one in the same

a HDTV moniter is cheaper cause it dosent have a tuner

which is fine cause most any box you hook into it will do what it needs to do

just get a good HDTV thats you concern is the picture

Neither is going to be better or worse. When a set is labeled as a monitor, it simply means it lacks an HD tuner so you would have to use a cable/sattellite box or external tuner to get HD programming. On an HDTV with built in tuner, you can simply hook up an over the air antenna and get locally brodcast HD content.

For the 360? You don't need a tuner so you can save some money by getting a set without one.
