media conversions?

Question

I didn't really know where to put this question but I guess here is fine........

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to turn my .wma (windows media audio) file into a .mp3?? I took a song off of a cd that I wanted from a friend and it went to a .wma file when using Windows Media Player. I want to know if I can turn that into a .mp3 file somehow?

go download yourself a copy of Audio Conversion Wizard, it's an easy to use app and does the job quick. Besides the mp3, wma convesion, etc, it can do lots more, like vogg, etc.

the latest version don't convert wma files.

if the wma is copy protected you won't be able to convert it.

knowing WMP, and newsbies who use it, you prolly have 96kbit wma, which will give you really crapy mp3 files once you convert:ermm:

stick with existing wma unless you made really HIGH quality files it's not worth converting to mp3

dont convert, leave as it, you will get a worst sounding MP3 or whatever you are converting to in the end from the original encode
