What an absolutely useless post. Are you that concerned about how other people dry off after a shower / bath ? Really, that's horrible.

Why don't you make a poll asking people how exactly they wake up in the morning.

Uhm .. do you get straight up and move to one side and then get out?

Uhm .. do you roll to one side and then get out?

Uhm .. do you slither towards to the bottom of the bed and slide out?

Why do people make posts / polls like this? Neowin is starting to seem like a breeding ground

for people who can't make decisions for themselves unless they ask how 'you guys' do it first.

Bleh.

sorry i found this funny

Next time, can you use the [stupid] prefix, so I know not to waste my time clicking on something retarded like this in the future?

Thanks.

What did you think a post titled 'Post shower/bath towel dry off?' would be about?

I dry myself inside the tub. I always hang my towel over the curtain rod so I don't have to leave the tub to get it. I don't like opening the shower curtain until I'm mostly dry; it's cold. :p

Towel dry in the tub. Would use the air dry method but it's too cold round here and the other members of my household might have me carted off.

why make this post? Really.... even yourself said it was useless... so.... why make it?

:lamp: Lighten up :lamp:

You didn't have to click on the poll, and if you hate the whole poll section in "General Discussion" then stay out of it!

As for why people make these polls, who knows, curiousity, sexual deviance, school projects or even more shocking, "fun".

Since I take showers, I don't usually get in or out of a tub. But I generally use the air-dry method (even when it's freezing cold, like last night). My air-dry method consists of maybe using the towel a bit, but putting on a robe right away, and sitting in my room until I dry off. IOW, I'm not getting dressed for at least an hour after taking a shower.

wipe off excess water with my hands (the ancient 'squeegee' method), step out, dry off. one towel to dry with, one on the floor. there's already a little rug/mat there, but i'd rather not have it get extra moist and start getting funky.

Yeah, I also put a towel down on the floor outside the shower.

heres a trick I recently learned

before you get out of the shower step out of the water and turn the water towards cold (not all the way)

then just stick your hands and feet in the cold water for about a minute

then when you get out and dry off with towels you wont be sweating from the hot water anymore

Same thing with the addition of a floor towel or whatever they are called (not regular towels but made for the floor).

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not sweating when I come out of the shower.

Almost like it.

Winter: Robe + mat in from of the tub + towel to finish the job

Summer: Mat in front of the tub + towel

Winter (when late for something): = Summer

I also hate soft and fluffy towels.

Hard towels are better... they're the ones that feel almost a bit like sandpaper.

Followed by some cream to protect the skin from dehydration and voil?: great and healthy skin!

ditto. Except I don't use a towel on the floor unless there's already a used one hanging over the shower.
