dreamz Veteran Posted December 13, 2005 Veteran Share Posted December 13, 2005 Wow... thanks for all of the shortcuts! Is there a way to stick a run thing in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen? That would be sexy. you can add the address bar to your taskbar and use it the same way. i personally use the run box all the time. i can't live without win + r. Napalm Frog
I use it for basically anything not on RK Launcher. Thoguh, I really should start hitting Windows+R, I keep going through the start menu to get there. I blame Linux, since I've been using Ubuntu I've been ditching shortcuts a lot. FiREFLi
ALL the time. I don't not use it. I add a new command every couple of days too. It's great.

david622
i only use it to get to dxdiag, msconfig, and cmd OCCASIONALLY to get to folders, but usually for that i'll open a different folder and type in the address in that.
axis
I used to, then my friend found TypeAndRun. Think of a customizeable Run bar, that you can add your own aliases to. I run my computers through it now...give it a try people!!! http://galanc.com/
bsquirle
I use it very much! no need to put icons on my desktop for all these things (my desktop is filled with junk anyway :p)
BigCheese
I don't use it much. Usually, if I want to use the command prompt, I use the "Open CMD window here" power toy. I use it a bit more at school though. hehe

DaveLegg Developer Posted December 17, 2005 Developer Share Posted December 17, 2005 I have three icons I use, in my quick launch, for everything else, starting programs or opening documents, its the run box. I only ever use explorer when I need to move files around.
